Summary: This is a lovely gite with everything that you might need. It was easy to find and is well secured behind gates. The owners live on site and although their English and our French was limited, we managed to communicate well both whilst we were there and beforehand. The garden is large with plenty of seating areas in and out of the sun but the best bit is the decent sized swimming pool with the loungers and sun shades. It is within easy reach of some interesting places although a car is needed.

Summary: We had a lovely stay. The grounds are beautiful and serene. It's far enough from city centers and close enough to drive to many places. Marie-Claude was a very lovely and attentive host. Thank you!

Summary: This was a lovely gite in an extensive garden with a pool. We were there in early May so the pool was not yet open but the poll area was lovely to sit out in. The house itself was very well laid out and had everything we needed including the ability to eat inside or outside. Marie-Claude and Patrick were very kind and helpful. The location was very good, close to Mirepoix.

Summary: We did not realise there were two gites attached to the owner’s property to share the pool. This did not cause us an issue as the other gite was mainly vacant during our stay. The actual gite is superb. Very spacious and wonderfully equipped with everything one could possibly need. The only thing we missed was having a fan in the bedroom as the heat on our first night made sleeping difficult. The pool is large and beautifully clean with very nice pool furniture. The grounds had suffered from this years drought but still wonderful with various games and play equipment for children. Marie Claude and Patrice were so welcoming and friendly. Discreet but on hand if needed. Mirepoix is so beautiful with lots of restaurants and only a five minute drive away. We stayed at the very end of August and noticed that places had or were beginning to shut down. I expect the area is a lot busier earlier in the season. I would highly recommend this gite for families.

Summary: Lovely place with beautiful gardens and lots to do but what really made this place so great is Patrick and Marie-Claude and their very warm welcome. Would highly recommend.

Summary: The property is off a main road, but the minute you turn into the gate, you find yourself in a beautiful park with lovely trees, flowers, a 4 hole golf course and swimming pool. The gite is very comfortable and the owners thought of everything to make our stay memorable. Nothing was too much trouble, and they even gave us fresh eggs from their hens! We would recommend this gite to anyone looking for a comfortable, accessible holiday home

Summary: Very enjoyable stay and our host Patrick was very helpful even though he didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak French! Our only minor concern was that we were charged extra for bed linen, towels etc. 32 Euros with taxes. This was not made clear on the website. However we would recommend this gite and we would stay again.

Summary: My husband and I had a wonderful week in this gite close to Mirepoix. The gite is spacious, comfortable and well equipped with a covered terrace for eating dinner and you have the run of the gardens with table tennis, golf and darts to keep you busy. The pool is lovely and just the ticket for cooling off after a day of sightseeing. It is possible to walk to town over the fields, which was a relief as the road the gite is on is very busy. The hosts were extremely helpful and enthusiastic, lending us bikes when they discovered we enjoyed running in the sun. Great base to explore the Ariege.

Summary: We stayed for a friend's wedding that was being held locally from 25th - 30th June. It was very easy to contact prior to our stay with very quick responses. Marie-Claude & Patrick were extremely welcoming and helpful when we arrived, even with our very weak French they were great at bearing with us! The grounds and pool are immaculate, also table tennis, badminton and other games available, it's a fantastic little place. The thick walls of the gitê meant that it stayed cool in the hot weather, there was plenty of information about the local area and a fully equipped kitchen. It is a 20 minute walk, or a few minutes drive, from Mirepoix, which is a lovely little town with easy parking availability and a small, but well stocked, Carrefour supermarket. A few more minutes away there is a Super U or Aldi. It's also a relatively short, quiet and easy drive to Carcassonne and lots of local sites. All-in-all a fabulous little place which we would definitely recommend to others.
